What makes this stay sustainable?
At INFOREST, sustainability is not just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of everything they do. Their commitment to sustainability stems from a deep respect for nature and a desire to create a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment. By choosing sustainable practices, they aim to minimise their ecological footprint and inspire others to embrace a more eco-conscious lifestyle.
The tiny houses at INFOREST are hand-built using local, sustainable materials. This not only supports the local economy but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with transporting materials over long distances. Each house is designed to be completely off-grid, powered by solar energy and equipped with innovative battery storage solutions. This ensures that the energy consumption is both renewable and efficient.
Water is a precious resource, and INFOREST strive to use it wisely. Their houses are equipped with water-saving fixtures and systems that minimise water usage without compromising comfort. Additionally, they use natural filtration systems to ensure that any water they return to the environment is clean and safe.
Sustainability is crucial for preserving the beauty and health of the planet for future generations. By adopting sustainable practices, they help mitigate climate change’s impacts, reduce pollution, and conserve natural resources. At INFOREST, they believe that everyone has a role to play in protecting the environment, and they are committed to doing their part.
Guests are often drawn to INFOREST by the allure of a peaceful, nature-centric getaway. They come seeking tranquillity, a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and a chance to reconnect with the natural world. What they find is an immersive experience that not only rejuvenates the soul but also underscores the importance of sustainability.
Staying in the tiny houses offers guests a firsthand experience of sustainable living. They witness how renewable energy powers their stay, how waste can be managed responsibly, and how water conservation can be seamlessly integrated into daily life. This experience often leaves a lasting impression, inspiring guests to adopt more sustainable habits in their own lives.
At INFOREST, their commitment to sustainability is heartfelt and unwavering. They are passionate about protecting the environment and promoting sustainable living. They believe that by offering guests an eco-friendly and comfortable stay, they can demonstrate that sustainability and luxury are not mutually exclusive. Their goal is to create a model for sustainable tourism that others can follow, helping to preserve the natural beauty of our planet for generations to come.
“Our vision for INFOREST has always been to create a sanctuary where people can reconnect with nature in a sustainable way. By integrating eco-friendly practices into every aspect of our tiny houses, we hope to inspire our guests to embrace sustainability in their daily lives.” – Jesper Uvesten, co-owner and co-founder of INFOREST.
