ABTA membership ensures you’re covered for non-flight-based travel, providing assistance and a refund in case of company failure. ATOL protection, a UK Civil Aviation Authority scheme, secures your flight-inclusive holidays, safeguarding you from being stranded abroad or losing money on future bookings.
Furthermore, our Trust Account – managed by independent trustees – holds your payments, ensuring that your funds are only used for your trip and can be refunded in the unlikely event of our insolvency. These measures, integral to Sustainable Journeys, offer peace of mind and a guarantee that your adventure is not only environmentally responsible but also financially secure.
Whilst Sustainable Journeys handles all aspects of the creation, planning and operation of your travel your booking agreement is with Major Travel, subject to their approved terms and conditions, and protected by their ATOL, ABTA and Trust Account as appropriate.
